Serving: Landowners in Frenchtown, Lily Bay, Harford’s Point, Moosehead Jct., Big Moose Twp., Chesuncook Village and other Northwestern Piscataquis County Unorganized Territories with proof of landownership.

Directions: The Transfer Station is located on a gravel road off the Lily Bay Road, approximately 5.5 miles southwest of Kokadjo, Maine.

Hours of operation:
May 1 – Nov 30
Sunday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Tuesday noon – 4:00 PM
Friday noon – 4:00 PM

December 1 – April 30
Sunday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Wednesday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Accepted Waste:
General Household Waste
Appliances
Appliances containing Freon $12.00
Major metal appliances – washers, dryers, ranges, woodstoves and freezers (without Freon) $ 5.00
Demolition Debris
No charge for partial loads (less than a single cubic yard) except for the following bulk items which will be charged individually:
Sofa, mattress, box spring, upholstered chair or other $10.00 each furniture
Large amounts of demo are not accepted nor are entire buildings being demolished. These must be hauled directly to Pine Tree Landfill or to Waste Management at owners’ expense.

Recycling:
Universal wastes are accepted (electronics, lights, ballasts, televisions, computers, etc.)
